Wiebke Dreyer
Profile After spending a significant time in the Mediterranean, German, London based artist Wiebke Dreyer started her work about colour. She originally based her work on Mediterranenan landscapes, strongly influenced by perception of languages and light in different cultures. Travelling to Morocco introduced the aspect of texture and environment and a recent passion for opera lead to a contrast of the originally by the Sahara desert and lately by walks in her local park inspired earth paintings with strong colourful theatre inspired ones.
