Puck van Ameyden van Duym

was born in Indonesia, where she lived for a couple of years.

Her childhood was a bit of a turbulent one. Moving quite a lot, and other changes in situation probably induced a certain amount of restlessness, which characterizes  her adult life.

In 1991 she finally decide to focus entirely on art.

She lives in Leusden, Holland, with her atelier and a small exhibition space attached to her home-

In her sculptures, she tries to capture a fleeting moment,  a movement, a fragment in time

Her bronzes are tall, fragile figures, often dancing. Dance as a universal language, bridging cultural differences.

The works in stone are more compact, introvert en more often abstract.
