REVIEWS (Fragments) It is a creative individual and he wonder about existential questions travelling beyond the limits of the evidence of reality…” “…He portrays the love, the power of passion, showing aspects of air travel, with no return ticket, a traveler at infinity of the soul, galaxy of stars, the art of wisdom, and wisdom of an elegant sun, which rise every moment, because the psychology of dreams is the determinant of a work that is outlined in a poem, a literary phrase that is disguised as color and shape in paintings…” “…Ezequiel Montero Swinnen sails in a sea of thick crystals, where everything is dissipated in the early hours of the morning. Rays of sunshine across the area, are interested in experimenting expressive impulses browsing a reality, made of poetry, constructed from stories from literary impulses and experiences…” “…His work includes the sign, the cross, the circle, key to understanding the code numbers, combined with the serenity that speaks of the soul, the will of the spirit of advancing to the corners of the great maze…” “Montero Swinnen's paintings, as strong bastions of personal expressions, defy us to build a never-ending, unsettling and open-ending story telling. The rawness of his materials and the emotional and visceral story see themselves seduced and embraced by a mysterious poet who leads to trimmed fragments of his favorite authors or simply to numbers or letters, lines or paragraphs that elegantly submerge in the work, as witnesses of a refined and exquisite typography. Overwhelming and subtle, intrepid and acute, his work merges the surprise in a combination of opposites that, in this case, seem to suggest not a contraction, but a new harmony state.” |
